Job Analysis and Description:
Working with hiring managers to determine the requirements for vacant positions, including skills, qualifications, and experience. They then create detailed job descriptions and specifications.
Sourcing Candidates:
Utilizing various methods to attract suitable candidates, including job boards, social media platforms, networking, referrals, and recruiting events. They may also actively search for passive candidates who aren't actively job seeking.
Screening Resumes and Applications:
Reviewing resumes and job applications to assess candidates' qualifications and suitability for the position. This involves evaluating their skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors.
Conducting Interviews:
Arranging and conducting interviews with potential candidates to assess their fit for the position and the company culture. This may involve phone screenings, video interviews, and in-person meetings.
Candidate Assessment:
Administering assessments, tests, or other evaluation methods to gauge candidates' skills, personality traits, and cultural fit.
Reference and Background Checks:
Contacting references provided by candidates and conducting background checks to verify employment history, qualifications, and other relevant information.
Managing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS):
Utilizing ATS software to keep track of candidate applications, manage the hiring process, and maintain candidate databases.
Offer Negotiation and Onboarding:
Extending job offers to successful candidates and negotiating terms of employment, including salary, benefits, and start dates. They may also facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Building Talent Pipelines:
Proactively identifying and engaging with potential candidates for future positions, maintaining relationships with top talent, and creating talent pools for future hiring needs.
